The second edition of innovation@amazon grew far beyond the first one, with over 300 IT specialists attending. With the growth of the event both in size and quality, and plans for it becoming an annual occurrence, I’ve wanted to update the design. I too developed through that year and knew I can create a better visual identity, more appropriate to the scale of the conference.
New logo, more neatly based on a grid, with an assisting pattern that became more geometric. New colour pallet, underlining the connection of the conference with the sea (Gdansk is a city on the Baltic coast).
